So its been awhile...

Hello Beauty and Hair Blog Readers

Sorry it has been forever. Work has been crazy busy.
With the Holidays coming up I wanted to post a quick blog on what products i have been trying and loving...
Some of these products are from the drug stores and some from professional make-up stores...

First I will go with the drug store products-

Let me start this one by saying I can not go to bed with my make-up on at all so this product has made it really simple for me in helping take it all off after a long day at work... the product is Ponds Wet Cleansing Towelettes- Evening Soothe

What i love about these is they are textured and they take off even my waterproof mascara.
They have a great scent of white tea and chamomile. and are great for even my sensitive skin.

The next product I am loving is a Elf product so not drug store but I got it at target and it is the elf brush shampoo it was 3 Dollars at Target. it is very gentle and I mix it with water so its even lighter but still works.

Some other things I am loving are

NYX Eyeshadow trio in Rock and Roll

I have gone back to using my MAC Fix+ and am loving that again

I also heard of so many people talking about the MAC Painterly Paint Pot so I went out and bought it... Guess what I love it just as much as everybody else does. Works great as a great everyday eyeshadow base for me.

Well those are just a few of the things I am loving right now. Keep checking back for more. Hope to have some tutorials and product reviews coming up.
But if I could ask for help give me some ideas on products you would liked reviewed or tutorials you would like to see.
Email them to beautyandhairblog@gmail.com

Thanks
Kristen

What I am loving right now

I just wanted to write a quick blog on what products I am currently loving as of now.

I have done a few blogs today and this is probably going to be my last one for the day.

I am currently loving the following. I will post reviews on each at a later date.

- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Yogurt
- NYX Jumbo Pencil in French Fries
- MAC Eyeshadow in Naked Lunch
- Smashbox Halo Powder in Light
- OPI polish in Fit For a Queensland
- Alterna Caviar Moisture Shampoo and Cond.

Those are the 6 products that are on the top of my list of what I am loving at the moment.

Take time to comment and tell me what you are loving at this time.

Advice Please

Ok people here is what I need.

I am trying to cut down on my budget where make-up come in. I still want to be able to buy stuff and try out new products but I do not want to keep buying the expensive. Here is the problem I have tried the drugstore brand and it always seems to break me out. So as far as foundations and powders go I will have to keep using the expensive stuff. But on the other side my eyes and lips seem to be ok with the cheaper stuff. I have recently purchased a few NYX products and really seem to like them. I want to order more from them and I want to put it out there to you to tell me what I should order like some of you fave products colors included. I have a few of the eye shadows and some of the jumbo pencils.

Feel free to comment on here or to email me at beautyandhairblog@gmail.com

Thanks
Kristen

Long Time

As everyone can tell I have not been on in awhile. Today is a lazy Sunday for me so I will be working on doing a few reviews. I have noticed a lot of talk lately about Revlon Photo finish make up and Maybelline Super Stay 24 hr make-up. I have yet to find the Revlon Photo Finish make-up it seems to be sold out everywhere I go or all they have is dark colors and my skin is nowhere close to dark. So I decided to try the Maybelline SuperStay. Now as you know I love the Smashbox High Def foundation. I have been using that for sometime now. I bought the Maybelline while I was back home visiting my family for my birthday back in October. I did not start using it till sometime around January. My first thoughts were this is good. It stayed on my face which my face likes to soak up foundation and disappear in the middle of the day making my skin look horrible. I will say at first I thought I found a cheaper foundation then what I was used to spending that worked. After about a week or two I noticed my face was breaking out and that through-out the day the make-up was slowly changing colors on my skin. In my industry that is a big no-no cause how can I make other people feel beautiful If I my self do not. So all in all I quit using the Maybelline SuperStay. also another thing about it. It is supposed to my non transferable but every time I used my phone it was always on my screen after I got off. I know a lot of people have raved about this foundation but not one of my favorites. But on the good side I found a foundation other then my smashbox that i really love. I will review that at a later date.

I ask one question to you guys.
What is your favorite foundation? Post it on the comments below.

Hey guys,
So I got the shu uemura deep seawater on Friday... I got the rose smelling one... I have had a couple days to try this product out and all I can say is that I was told it was like a toner and a refresher for your skin... And I only see the benefits as a water that smells good on the skin... So I guess you could say some refreshing... The price tag for this bottle was 24 dollars... Was it worth it... That is the question... In my mind no...It smells wonderful on the good side... But here is my question to you guys... have any of yall tried it and had a better experience with it...

It also come in other smells like Sage, Lavender,Chamomile,Mint,Hamamelis, Bergamot, Rosemary, Rose(Which I have), and a Frangrance Free one...
